The official trailer is released in an attempt to 'make things right' after it was previously leaked following San Diego Comic-Con panel over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - "Suicide Squad" officially releases the Comic-Con trailer which was screened in San Diego during Warner Brothers panel at Hall H over the weekend. The trailer was previously leaked by bootlegger, much to director David Ayer's chagrin.

"Shame our sneak peek Hall H footage was leaked. #notcool it's unfair to the fans who waited in line. And not how I intended folks to see it," the director tweeted. He later added, "As we used to say in the #Navy stand-by to stand-by. We're gonna make it right."

The trailer introduces the main anti-heroes that include Jared Leto's Joker, Will Smith's Deadshot, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney's Boomerang, Cara Delevingne's Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara's Katana, and Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flagg.

The DC movie will hit U.S. theaters on August 5, 2016. In an interview with Elle magazine, Robbie talks about the rat Leto gifted her to make up his absence during the early filming. "If Harley got something from Joker, she'd probably cherish it," so she said.
