AceShowbiz - HBO gives a sneak peek at the upcoming TV version of Michael Crichton's 1973 sci-fi western-thriller film "Westworld". Four photos from the new series are released. One features James Marsden and Evan Rachel Wood and another shows Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Wright.
The pictures were shared online after a trailer was released at the San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend. There was actually no panel for the show at the event. Executive producer Jonathan Nolan offered a surprise trailer during the panel for his other show, CBS' "Person of Interest".

The series is also supported by Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Miranda Otto, and Rodrigo Santoro. The original movie is set in a futuristic theme park populated with robot characters, one of which tortured the guests of the park. The TV remake is described as a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.
