Movie

Badass action scenes, cheeky jokes, and deadpanned quips fill the trailer which wowed the crowd at Hall H in San Diego Comic-Con.

AceShowbiz - "Deadpool" trailer from San Diego Comic-Con has finally arrived online. It's action-packed, showing the Merc with the Mouth killing his opponents while dropping a lot of expletive-laden comments. The crowd at Hall H was so impressed that they chanted "one more time!" and demanded it be played again.

"From the studio that inexplicably sewed his mouth shut. They bring you ... [claps, the light on] ... Me," Ryan Reynolds kicked off, referring to the tame version of Deadpool in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" which sparked a lot of backlash from fanboys. He also thanked "some a-hole" that leaked the test footage.

The trailer opens with Wade Wilson trying to find a cure for his disease. "Please don't make the suit green. Or animated!" he quips, making a cheeky reference to Reynolds' tanked superhero flick "Green Lantern" as he is being wheeled in a gurney to enter Weapon X program.

Action scenes soon follow. One shows the highway sequence as seen in the test footage, another sees the motor-mouthed mercenary getting punched by gigantic Colossus drawing colorful word from the hero, and one features Deadpool shooting three guys in the heads with only one bullet.

Sniffing the smoke from his guns, the Merc with the Mouth groans and delivers one last quip, "I'm touching myself tonight," drawing applause and laugh from the audience. Reynolds who showed up at the panel with director Tim Miller gave each other high fives as they were stunned by the crowd's overwhelming response.

"For one I think it's an absolute miracle that a studio let us make 'Deadpool' let alone a Rated-R 'Deadpool'," the actor said. "(It's) the most faithful adaptation of a comic book to a movie I've ever seen," he added. "I've only ever done one other proper, actually not proper, superhero movie."

They did it!! #deadpool more footage to come. #yourwelcome
