AceShowbiz - Ellie Goulding has fueled rumors that she'll be recording the theme song for the next "James Bond" movie, "Spectre". The British songbird hinted at her involvement in the film when she took to Twitter earlier this week to post a "James Bond"-related tweet.
"Live and let die," she wrote, referring to the 1973 "Bond" film starring Roger Moore as the titular character. The movie featured a theme song performed by Paul McCartney with his band Wings.

Goulding's tweet came just days after fellow British singer Sam Smith denied he'd been offered to sing the "Spectre" theme despite being a strong contender. "People seem to think I'm doing it but I have no idea what's going on. I'm being deadly serious. I think I would know by now," he said in an interview last week.
He went on revealing that Goulding might have been approached for the job. "I heard Ellie Goulding was going to do it, it's definitely not me," he added.
Marking the 24th "James Bond" film, "Spectre" will see Daniel Craig reprising his role as agent 007. Sam Mendes is back as director. It is scheduled for release later this year.
