An Israeli man named Adi Lederman, who was arrested last January for stealing the demos for the album and then selling them, will also have to pay a $4,000 fine.

AceShowbiz - A man behind the leaked demos for Madonna's "Rebel Heart" album has been sentenced to 14 months in jail. The Israeli man named Adi Lederman was also fined around $4,000 after he's found guilty of computer trespassing, copyright infringement, prohibited secret monitoring and obstructing investigation.

Lederman, who once competed on an "American Idol"-esque talent show in Israel, hacked the demos from the cloud accounts of Madonna's associates and manager. According to court documents, he then sold the unfinished tracks to another person who eventually leaked them in late 2014. Lederman was arrested in January of this year in a joint investigation by the FBI and Israeli Police forces.

Responding to the leak, which she called "artistic rape" and "a form of terrorism," Madge rush-released six songs off her "Rebel Heart". The whole album arrived a few months later in March and debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200. To support it, Madonna will bring the project on a tour that's opening with a two-night show at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC on September 9-10.
