Police in Lake Elsinore, California are investigating Ariana's donut-licking footage with the help of the Riverside County Department of Public Health.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande's donut-licking video may lead to a legal problem. The video is now being investigated by Lake Elsinore Police, California which teams up with the Riverside County Department of Public Health to look into the incident.
In the video, Ariana and her alleged new boyfriend Ricky Alvarez were seen licking donuts on a tray placed on a countertop at Wolfee Donuts when the waiter's back was turned. One of the staff members in charge at that time, Mayra Solis, said that the singer didn't buy the donuts she licked.
When another tray was brought out, Ariana can be heard saying, "What the f*** is that? I hate Americans. I hate America. That's disgusting."
Following the remark, Ariana issued an apology on Wednesday, blaming her outburst on her frustration over unhealthy eating habits in America.
"I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I've always made it clear that I love my country," Ariana said in a statement. "What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the doughnuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words."
In the statement, Ariana went on explaining about the country's child obesity problem. "The fact that the United States has one of the highest child obesity rates in the world frustrates me. We need to do more to educate ourselves and our children about the dangers of overeating and the poison that we put into our bodies," she said.
"However I should have known better in how I expressed myself," she added, "And with my new responsibility to others as a public figure I will strive to be better." She followed up the statement with a tweet that read, "Need to clean up this mouth of mine & set a better example for my babes. I apologize and i love you. always learning."
