AceShowbiz - Cody Simpson and Tinashe have formed an unlikely duo for Ralph Lauren's Denim & Supply. In a campaign for the fall 2015, the Australia singer and the R&B starlet teamed up to cover Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band's "Express Yourself".
In the video released online on Wednesday, July 8, the two young stars are featured jamming together at Electric Lady Studios in New York alongside a band. Joining them are models Hailey Baldwin and Bella Hadid who dance in the background and showcase the company's fall designs.
"Being able to play guitar at Electric Lady, it was just so sick," said Simpson of performing with Tinashe at the historical Electric Lady Studio where big names like Jimi Hendrix, Patti Smith and The Rolling Stones have recorded their classics.
"I'm a crazy Hendrix fan, so being there was rad for me," added Tinashe. "The set was really fun. We had a dance break... I don't even know what to call it... a parody type thing that we were filming, and it just brought out all of the moves."
