The British singer casually shares the information while discussing a 'really f**king good' song he wrote with the Canadian recluse.

AceShowbiz - A collaboration between Kanye West and The Weeknd is underway, according to Ed Sheeran. The British gingerhead let it slip during an interview on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show that the rapper and the reclusive R&B star had worked together on a song for the latter's highly-anticipated new album.

Sheeran shared the information as he talked about going to a party at The Weeknd's house in Toronto. He recalled the Canadian star told him at the party that they should get together the next day and write a song.

"In my head I'm like, 'The Weeknd doesn't want to write a song!' The Weeknd doesn't want to work with anyone," said Sheeran. "He's got one feature on his album, which is Kanye West. He doesn't want to do that."

As for his own collaboration with The Weeknd, Sheeran said that he did meet up with him again the next day. The two then wrote a song, which the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker claimed was "really f**king good."

The Weeknd hasn't said anything about Sheeran's statement. He's currently working on his next album, which will reportedly be titled "Chapter III". The follow-up to 2013's "Kiss Land" is due out later this year.
