Marvel Studios has launched a promo video which relates Ant-Man to Sokovia, a place where most action in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' happened.

AceShowbiz - Marvel Studios has launched a faux news report video which gives an idea about Ant-Man's involvement in the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe. The video is a WHIH World News update which relates "Ant-Man" to "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

The faux news is hosted by Leslie Bibb who previously starred as a Vanity Fair reporter, Christine Everhart, in 2008's "Iron Man" and 2010's "Iron Man 2". "We'll discuss the fallout of the most recent adventure conflicts in Sokovia and the on-going aid efforts in that region," Everhart says.

Based on what she says, it seems like Ant-Man will expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Sokovia is the site where most action in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" happened. The video also gives a hint about the background story of the criminal-turned-hero Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) a.k.a. Ant-Man.

"Also, we'll revisit a story from a few years ago in the case of former Vistacorp employee and cyber criminal, Scott Lang, who is set to be released from federal prison on July 17," Everhart says. The video is seemingly meant to remind people of the film's release date which will be the same with the date mentioned as the prison release date for Lang.

Directed by Peyton Reed, "Ant-Man" follows the titular character who has the ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength. He has to help his mentor, Pym, to protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Rudd leads the cast which also includes Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwell and Michael Pena.
