Safaree Samuels Obliquely Blames Nicki Minaj for His BET Awards Red Carpet Ban

After he was told that he was not allowed to hit the BET Awards red carpet, the 33-year-old rapper indirectly accuses his ex-girlfriend of making the request to ban him from the event.

AceShowbiz - Safaree Samuels took to Twitter to tell his followers that he was banned from the BET Awards red carpet. In one of the tweets he posted on Saturday, June 27, the 33-year-old rapper indirectly accused his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj of asking the organizers to ban him from the event.

Safaree said that his publicist was told that he was banned from the BET Awards red carpet but didn't really get the reason. He tweeted, "So Bet told my publicist im 'Banned' from Bet Red carpet, hmmm wonder why.. dnt recall a situation occuring with them but hey #itiswhatitis."

He was apparently sure that his ex-girlfriend Nicki who made the request to ban him from the event. Quoting Nicki's line from "Only", he wrote, "Tell em b***hes blow me lance stephenson ... and to outsiders dont say anything about me quoting that... i wrote it!! have a goodday!"

Following his tweets, he posted on Instagram a video of him topless while singing on a truck. He claimed that it was what he was doing after his publicist was told about his banning. A caption for the video read, "This is what i was doin when Bet told my publicist i was banned from the red carpet ... Thank God! this is what i love!! Volummee!!! PULLLLLL UPPPPPP #stuntgang #hollywoodcarnival."

Recently, the former couple got into a war of words as Safaree allegedly dissed Nicki in his single "Love the Most". Safaree later explained that his song wasn't a diss to Nicki but it was about his life.
