Comic-Con Friday Movie Schedule: 'Star Wars' Offers Special Look

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan will be in Hall H to give fans 'a special look' at 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.

AceShowbiz - The official schedule for movie panels at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 10 has been unveiled. It seems like "Star Wars" die-hard fans will take over the event as the movie will be rapidly presented in several panels in the convention.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan will be in Hall H to please fans with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" news. They will join forces to show the attendees "a special look" at the movie. The highly-anticipated panel will start at 5:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M.

For those who want to know deeper about "Star Wars" including how the story begins and how the writers of the movie provide a suitable version for a younger generation of fans can join "Star Wars" Publishing panel. The attendees will also be served with new perspectives about the beloved characters in the movie and how they became the legends for legions of fans.

Meanwhile, western drama "The Hateful Eight" will be present at the convention on Saturday, July 11. Writer-director Quentin Tarantino has announced that the film, along with the cast, will make an appearance in the convention's cavernous Hall H at 1:30 P.M. The panel will talk about the movie and will include the screening of the first footage of the film. The panel discussion will be moderated by Chris Hardwick.

Set for a release in the U.S. on December 25, "The Hateful Eight" follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Walton Goggins.
