'I cannot tolerate the disrespectful and hurtful words that came out of the mouth of Mr. Trump,' writes Sanchez on a Facebook post to announce that she won't co-host the Miss USA pageant.

AceShowbiz - After Univision decided to sever ties with Miss USA organization following Donald Trump's racist remarks about Mexican, Roselyn Sanchez announced on Thursday, June 25, that she stepped down as Miss USA co-host. The Latin beauty took to Facebook to express her inconvenience to Trump's speech.

Sanchez wrote her post in Spanish which was loosely translated to, "As a Latina, I'm very proud of my roots, culture and everything that we have contributed to this nation, I have decided to cancel my participation as co-host in the miss USA pageant. I cannot tolerate the disrespectful and hurtful words that came out of the mouth of Mr. Trump."

"It seems unbelievable that in his speech to announce his candidacy, has had that span of intelligence and decency. Mexicans, like Latinos, contribute positively to this great nation. We are the strength that keeps this country afloat," she continued. "I was very excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve as co-host of this great event in which many Latinas have shone, but I have more loyalty to my people. Enough with racism and 'influential' people underestimating us."

On a final note, the 42-year-old singer-songwriter thanked the TV network for cutting ties with any Trump-related stuff. "Thanks Univision for having me and for honoring your audience and cutting relationship with everything that has to do with Trump," so she closed the post.

Sanchez was originally tapped to co-host the Spanish-language simulcast of Miss USA alongside actor Cristian de la Fuente, who also decided to resign.

During his presidential announcement last week, Trump made irritating remarks about Mexicans. He said, "The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems. I have great respect for Mexico and love the Mexican people, but my loyalty is to the United States and making our country great again." The wealthy businessman claimed that immigrants from the south border brought negative impact to the U.S. "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best...They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us," the business magnate continued. "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
