AceShowbiz - Months after Kanye West dissed Beck following the latter's big win at the 2015 Grammy Awards, the rapper once again apologizes for his remarks. In a new interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times, he admits he was wrong when implying that the multi-instrumentalist didn't "respect artistry."
West tells the publication that his comments about Beck were "innacurate." He says, "I'm fine to apologize for inaccuracies. You know, I send flowers for inaccuracies. I talked to Beck's wife, and I think I had a point about Beyonce's album, but I think I was inaccurate with the concept of a gentleman who plays 14 instruments not respecting artistry."
Back in February, West nearly crashed Beck's acceptance speech after the musician's "Morning Phase" won over Beyonce Knowles' self-titled set in the coveted Album of the Year category at the Grammys. In an interview after the event, Kim Kardashian's husband dissed Beck and said that he should've given the award to Bey.
West's action and statement prompted criticism from lots of people. "Isn't it amazing that people are so constantly shocked by the commonly agreed-in truth?" he adds in the interview with Sunday Times. "How much bulls**t are we in if, every single time I give not just my opinion, but a vast 80|percent|, 90|percent| opinion, I get into that much trouble? When the truth is a mass opinion. That's not about accuracy, it's the definition of truth."
