'Ant-Man' has debuted a Father's Day-themed TV spot which focuses on the relationship between the titular hero and his daughter.

AceShowbiz - Marvel has released a new TV spot for their upcoming superhero movie "Ant-Man" to celebrate Father's Day. The 32-second video highlights the relationship between Paul Rudd's Ant-Man and his little daughter, Cassie Lang (Abby Ryder Fortson).

The TV spot was uploaded to the movie's official Twitter account along with a caption that read, "Happy Father's Day weekend from Marvel's #AntMan! On July 17, spend some time with your hero: https://Fandango.com/AntMan."

The video offers some never-before-seen scenes including one that sees Corey Stoll's Yellowjacket holding little Cassie. It may indicate that in the upcoming film Yellowjacket kidnaps Cassie and takes her hostage. It also includes an emotional scene when Scott comes late to Cassie's party. "I'm so sorry I'm late, I was saving the world. You know that," Scott tells his daughter.

Directed by Peyton Reed, "Ant-Man" follows the titular character who has the ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength. He has to help his mentor, Pym, to protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Rudd leads the cast which also includes Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas.

Another movie which has released a Father's Day-themed video is "Inside Out (2015)". "Don't know what to do for Father's Day? Disney and Pixar help you get inside Dad's head," someone says in voiceover, opening the video. The spot focuses on the lovable dad, Mr. Anderson (voiced by Kyle MacLachlan), who plays around with his daughter Riley (voiced by Kaitlyn Dias).

Directed by Pete Docter, "Inside Out" grossed $91.1 million from 3,946 theaters on its debut weekend, making it the best opening for an original Pixar title and the top opening for any original movie that isn't based on source material.
