AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom has resurfaced in Las Vegas in the wake of his BFF Jamie Sangouthai's death. The former Los Angeles Lakers player seemed to be in a pretty good spirit after dealing with the devastating loss of his deceased good friend for days.
Lamar hit Sin City to support his boxer friend Adrian Broner for his upcoming big fight against Shawn Porter on Saturday, June 20. Several photos have been since posted on social media showing Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband smiling while interacting with fans as he walked through the town's MGM Hotel and Casino.
Jamie died on Sunday, June 14 in Hollywood. The Los Angeles County Coroner recently confirmed that Jamie didn't pass away due to a drug overdose but because of a bacterial skin infection known as necrotizing fasciitis as a result of chronic IV drug abuse. "Due to the extent of the infection, the hospital performed surgery to deal with the infection, but the condition quickly overwhelmed what they were able to do for him," a coroner previously said.
Lamar isn't the only friend who mourned Jamie's passing. Rob Kardashian, who used to be Jamie's roommate, was said to be completely devastated by the death news. "Rob was crushed when he heard the news about Jamie," a source told Hollywood Life. "He got pretty close with [Jamie] when Lamar first hooked up with Khloe, and [the two] remained [close] ever since."
The source further said that Rob and Jamie were even "living together for a while." They along with Lamar frequently spent "night after night playing video games, goofing around trying to make rap songs and getting into trouble."
