AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson and her mother Tina Simpson are not going to any rehab centers despite an earlier report by Life & Style magazine on Wednesday, June 19. The magazine claimed that Tina suggested that they sought threatment for alcohol and drug issues.
The magazine cited an insider as saying, "Jessica's drinking has gotten out of control, and she uses Adderall as a diet drug." Jessica was seen stumbling while leaving Hollywood's Sayers Club on Tuesday, June 16. The "I Wanna Love You Forever" hitmaker was also helped by her husband Eric Johnson (II) walking to the car.
The magazine went on to explain that Jessica's mother who reportedly had drinking habit after her divorce from Joe Simpson begged her to seek help. Tina also allegedly wanted to address her drinking issues before walking "down the aisle." The insider said, "Going to rehab with Jessica means she can kill two birds with one stone. Tina sees it as a win-win for mother and daughter."
Denying the earlier report, a source close to the Simpson family told Gossip Cop that it wasn't "true" and dubbed the rumor "insane." It was confirmed that Tina was not trying to get her daughter into rehab nor suggested the two do a mother-and-daughter rehab.
