David Ayer Teases Mysterious 'Suicide Squad' Character
Movie

The director shares on Twitter a photo of a silhouetted character with gun and headphones on the set of the DC villain movie.

AceShowbiz - David Ayer took to Twitter on Tuesday night, June 16 to tease "Suicide Squad" fans about a mysterious character which will appear in the movie. David shared a photo of a silhouetted character wearing a baseball cap, headphones, jacket and longpants and carrying an assault rifle.

While David didn't provide any details on the picture, fans guessed that the character was Deathstroke. Deathstroke has been rumored for several months to appear in the DC villain flick with one report claiming that the character was the one being played by Jim Parrack.

Back in December, a report suggested that Deathstroke would be the bodyguard of Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). At that time, a fan named oldcomicbookfan wrote on Reddit, "He's placed in the squad to oversee that they do not deviate from the mission perimeters. The plot then becomes more complex as The Joker has a far more complex goal in mind. They really gave him this realistic but tech-geared look that is probably the best design I've ever seen of Deathstroke."

Deathstroke a.k.a. Slade Wilson is a talented mercenary who relies on various weapons to fight enemies, so an assault rifle seen in the photo might be one of his tools. However, the baseball cap and the headphones wouldn't go well with the character's famed orange and black mask.

"Suicide Squad" starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman and Cara Delevingne will hit theaters in the U.S. on August 5, 2016.
