AceShowbiz - Tamar Braxton is no longer expected to perform at the upcoming L.A. Pride Festival. The event's executive producer Jeff Consoletti confirms to TMZ that the singer has been removed from the line-up after she stopped answering their calls.
Toni Braxton's younger sister was among the first acts confirmed to perform at the bash slated to be held this weekend. Without clear explanation, she hasn't responded to the organizers' calls or emails, leaving Consoletti with no other choice but to cancel her appearance and find a replacement.
According to TMZ, organizers aren't planing to sue Braxton because she hasn't been paid yet. Pop artist Ivy Levan and rapper Angel Haze have been hired to fill in.
Just a day before Braxton pulled out of L.A. Pride, Iggy Azalea announced she's no longer headlining Pittsburgh Pride. The Australian raptress decided to cancel her performance following backlash from many people taking issue with some homophobic comments she made in the past.
"I feel my participation at this point would only serve to further distract from the true purpose of the event," she explained in a statement posted on her Twitter on Monday, June 8. She also apologized to anyone she'd offended in the statement.
