The WNBA star filed for annulment for her 29-day marriage to Glory because the marriage was based on 'fraud and duress' as she was 'pressured into marriage' by Glory's threatening statement.

AceShowbiz - WNBA star Brittney Griner filed for annulment of her marriage to Glory Johnson on Friday, June 5. The news came one day after Glory announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post.
"Last Wednesday, Glory and I agreed to either legally separate, get divorced, or annul our marriage," Brittney said in a statement. "I can confirm that today I filed for an annulment."
The couple tied the knot on May 8. Three weeks prior to their wedding, they were arrested on domestic violence charges. Brittney later pled guilty to her misconduct and attended 26 weeks of counseling. Brittney admitted that she regretted going through the wedding despite the ongoing counseling. "In the week prior to the wedding, I attempted to postpone the wedding several times until I completed counseling, but I still went through with it. I now realize that was a mistake," she added.
According to TMZ, Brittney said that the marriage to Glory was based on "fraud and duress" as Brittney was "pressured into marriage under duress by [Glory's] threatening statements." Her statement was also included in the reasoning of paperwork for the annulment. Although Brittney's statement indicated that Glory was aware with the annulment, Glory told TMZ that she was "blindsided" by Brittney.
On June 4, Glory excitedly announced her pregnancy on Instagram with a picture of a cake. She captioned it, " #SUCCESS #BLESSED #WelcomeToTheJohnsonGrinerFamily."
Earlier on Friday, Glory also posted a picture of Brittney touching her stomach. A caption for the picture read, "One day until I'm reunited with my Wife @brittneygriner . . . This is about to be one CRAZY SUMMER!!! #TooExcited #NewLife #NewAdditionToTheFamily."
