Ferrell and Wiig previously said they scrapped 'A Deadly Adoption' after the secret project was leaked, but the TV movie is now confirmed to premiere on June 20.

AceShowbiz - Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig's movie is indeed coming to Lifetime. Back in April, the duo announced they scrapped "A Deadly Adoption" after the project, which was supposed to be a secret, was revealed. However, it turns out the movie is not really dead as the network has officially announced it with a giant billboard on Hollywood Boulevard.

The poster reveals the premiere date of the movie is Sunday, June 20, but June 20 is Saturday. Lifetime says that the movie is airing on Saturday and the day on the poster is going to be corrected.

"A Deadly Adoption" stars Ferrell and Wiig as a successful couple who houses and cares for a pregnant woman in the hopes of adopting her unborn child, before things quickly go awry. Jessica Lowndes portrays the pregnant woman.

Rachel Lee Goldenberg directed the movie based on a script from Andrew Steele. Ferrell and Adam McKay produced the movie.

The project was supposed to be secret as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of Lifetime's movie franchise. After it was leaked in April, Michael Feeney, a spokesman for Lifetime's parent company, A&E, said that the network was "disappointed that our secret project with Will and Kristen was leaked and the network is determining the fate of the movie."
