AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is one of a bunch of Iggy Azalea's good friends who are super excited with the rapper's engagement to her beau Nick Young. Witnessing the happy moment, the 22-year-old songstress congratulated the "Black Widow" rapper with a cute picture on Instagram.
"Could not be happier for this woman.. (And yes this was literally my face for about an hour) Still can't believe I got to witness that last night," Lovato wrote on Tuesday, June 2 alongside the image. "So happy for you both... Love you so much lady."
In the snap, Lovato and the Australia-born star flash hilarious surprised faces. The image also showcases Azalea's giant $500,000 diamond engagement ring which was designed by Jason of Beverly Hills.
Young proposed to Azalea at his 30th birthday celebration on Monday night, June 1. The basketball player got down on one knee as he asked Azalea to marry him while presenting her with the gigantic engagement ring.
"It was a beautiful celebration for Nick with only his close friends and family," a source at the celebration told E! News about the moment after the happy news broke last night. "Nick completely surprised Iggy with the proposal. She was shocked and so excited and emotional at the same time."
"Nick has known for a long time Iggy was the one for him, but he was just waiting on the perfect time to pop the question," the source added. "They both have gotten very close these past few months and he can't think of anyone else to spend his life with but her. One of the most important things about Iggy is the way she is to his son."
Following her engagement, Azalea took to Twitter to share a snap of her hugging her boyfriend alongside a picture of the gold band. "#isaidyes @NickSwagyPYoung," she captioned the image.
