The man responsible for shooting the tour bus carrying Weezy's entourage reportedly has worked for another rapper Young Thug.

AceShowbiz - Jimmy Carlton Winfrey is allegedly a suspect in the shooting of tour bus carrying Lil Wayne and his entourage in Atlanta last month. Arrest warrant is issued by police for the guy who is reportedly a gang member with close ties to Weezy's rival Young Thug.
"Said accused did commit said act in order to gain status in his criminal organization by a committing a high profile shooting of a rival rap artist," the arrest warrant states. "Said accused has associated himself with known blood gang members in the Atlanta area."
According to TMZ, Winfrey has worked as a tour manager for Young Thug who has been feuding with Weezy. Thug recently released a mixtape called "Tha Carter 6" to mock Weezy's long delayed album. He changed the title to "Barter 6" after threatened with a lawsuit.
Weezy then blasted his rival in a club appearance, "Before I go any further, I want ya'll to do me a favor and stop listening to some ni**as that pose naked on their motherf**kin' album cover."
Thug responded on Instagram, "I understand that Lil Wayne is frustrated about his career and I feel him on that, but this is my idol. I won't ever in my life swap words with him or beef with him about nothing. This is a person that I look up to. Ha ha."
Winfrey is facing multiple felony charges including aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm, and criminal gang activity.
