'People posing with wildlife don't realize that a once in a lifetime photo for them means a lifetime of misery for the animal,' Silia Smith of World Animal Protection criticized the reality star.

AceShowbiz - Not so long after drawing criticisms for wearing niqab in an Instagram photo, Khloe Kardashian again sparked outrage. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was blasted by World Animal Protection's Silia Smith for taking a picture with a tiger cub during her recent Dubai trip.

Khloe took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 27 to share the specific picture. In the snap, the reality star is seen sitting on a sofa with a huge tiger painting in the background as she pouts at the camera and lets the tiger kiss her cheek.

After finding out about the picture, the animal right campaigner reacted angrily, saying, "We're disappointed to see yet another celebrity posing with a wild animal. Tiger cubs belong in the wild, with their mothers - not in captivity for use as entertainment or photo props."

"While interacting with wild tigers may seem harmless, people posing with wildlife don't realize that a once in a lifetime photo for them means a lifetime of misery for the animal," she added. "To be used for entertainment, wild tigers are cruelly poached from the wild as babies or bred in captivity."

The animal community is not the only one who considered Khloe's action harmful for the animal. Some fans also blasted the star over the snap, saying the animal should be free in the wild, not being captivated. A fan wrote, "Please read my blog and educate others about why cubs shouldn't ever be petted."

Another Twitter user commented, "im almosst certain that animal belongs in the wild and not on a sofa for ur entertainment #thoughtless." So far, Khloe hasn't addressed the matter yet.
