In a new interview, Kim reveals that she had her eyes on Kanye long before he became her husband as she says, 'I think it was more me pursuing him.'

AceShowbiz - During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Kim Kardashian admitted that she pursued Kanye West. Though on several occasions the rapper said that he always had eyes on the reality TV star, Kim said the she was the one who "was always attracted to him," because of both his physics and intelligence.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star first met her now-husband when she was in relationship with her former spouse. "When I first met him, we worked on a project together and there was definitely a spark, but we were in other relationships and we kept our distance," Kim recalled.
Though the two were in relationships with other persons, Kim opened up that they kept in touch as she said, "We stayed in touch here and there and then when he wasn't in relationships, you know, it's just our timing would always not really coincide."
She continued to tell host Billy Bush about her "aha" moment with Kanye after she divorced Kris Humphries. "And then, I think it was six months after I was newly single in like 2012, I was like why not? Like, what am I waiting for?" the 34-year-old star said.
"I thought he was going to call me as soon as he knew that I was single again," Kim talked about her confidence that the two had mutual feeling for each other. "He didn't, and so I called him and I said, 'Hello? I thought you were at least going to call me and 'I told you so,' something?' And then - he's always been a good friend to me, like, we've always been there for each other - then he invited me to a fashion show of his in Paris and I went, and then the magic happened."
After her divorce, she was actually reluctant to start new relationship. However, the little voice in her head encouraged her to begin anew. "But then in my head I was like, 'You know what? Screw it. Like, this is probably what I've been waiting for, it's been in front of my face,' " she explained. At the same time, she was also aware that the 37-year-old songwriter was cautious about starting new relationship considering her past relationship. "I think it was more me pursuing him like, 'I know I am ready. I promise I know I am ready now,' " she admitted.
Kim said the she was so happy having Kanye with her. She mentioned how both of them supported each other in career and life. The couple which was married on May 24, 2014 will celebrate their first anniversary this month.
