Riker and Rumer affirm their positions as strong contenders with their flawless performances on Monday night, while Noah Galloway remains an underdog.

AceShowbiz - The competition is getting intense as "Dancing with the Stars" season 20 is close to crowning the champion. On Monday night, May 18, the final three pairs performed two dances to earn both the judges' scores and viewers' votes. In the first round, they repeated a routine from earlier this season. In the second round, the performed supersized freestyle.

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess danced first, delivering an encore of their Argentine tango from Latin Night. The judges saw improvement, but as Len Goodman said, "You were unsteady." Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba blamed it on the nerves. The army vet earned 32 out of 40 points.

Rikey Lynch and Allison Holker danced their paso doble from Disney Night. Len gave a standing ovation and called it "epic." Julianne Hough said it had more control than the last time. Carrie Ann said Riker was "worthy of the finals." The judges gave him 40.

Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy reprised the foxtrot from the first week of the competition. Len commented, "I said this could be your season, your dancing is so much better, I loved it - great!" Julianne added, "I thought it was an amazing dance the first week, tonight it was flawless." The actress earned 40 points.

Next was the freestyle round. Noah and Sharna's routine was emotional as it reflected the moment he woke up on Christmas day after his war injury. Julianne said, "I'm not going to cry this time because that was a celebration, that is what freestyle is," adding that "the connection was so whole, so beautiful." Bruno praised the choreography, while Carrie Ann said, "This is art, it is meant to inspire us and that is what you do, your movements were incredible." Noah earned 40 points for a total of 72.

Riker and Allison's routine combined old school and new school styles. "Holy cow, honestly that is a true freestyle if I have ever see one," Julianne gushed. Len also raved, "You were both the past into the present, well done." Riker earned another perfect score for a total of 80 points.

Rumer and Val's frestyle was an intense and sexy Argentine tango. Bruno commented, "Every move, every intention sharply in focus; bewitching intensity." Len described it as being "pure and brave." Rumer also scored another perfect score for a total of 80 points.

On Tuesday night, "DWTS" will return with the 24-hour fusion challenge before the winner is announced.
