Lukyanova admitted that she had her latest tiny jean shorts photos photoshopped to 'achieve smoothness and color correction' as well as to 'correct the defects' of the pictures taken using a phone.

AceShowbiz - "Human Barbie" Valeria Lukyanova opened up to Cosmopolitan.com that her racy Facebook photos were indeed photoshopped. The controversial model admitted that the editing was required to "achieve smoothness and color correction."
Last week, Lukyanova shared a series of "Spring" edition pictures via Facebook featuring her wearing only a tight bra top and super tiny jean shorts while showing her toned figure. Many claimed that Lukyanova looked "unnatural" and seemed to have "body dysmorphic disorder" in those snaps.
Recently Cosmopolitan.com reached Lukyanova by email to ask about her response to the latest controversy. She recounted in the email that the snaps were taken by "her best friend" while adding, "The pictures are photoshopped to achieve smoothness and color correction. The pictures were taken in the botanical garden on the phone. They were not high quality. I had to edit them in order to correct the defects of the phone picture."
Lukyanova said that she didn't care about the body criticisms, claiming that haters were actually jealous of her beauty. "I've received compliments from my readers. There may have been some negative comments. I did not see them," so she wrote. "Beautiful people are often envied. That's why negativity does not surprise me. Instead, it touches me."
"And those who are unsatisfied with what I do and critique me and offend me clearly don't have the same figure as I do. Otherwise they would not be so negative," she concluded. "People who are satisfied with themselves don't comment on who they don't like. They will pass by. And those who write nasty [things], they are openly jealous. To have an ideal body is important to every self-respecting girl."
