Two dogs of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor was previously under death threat in Australia after he brought the dogs into the country without permits or a period in quarantine.

AceShowbiz - Johnny Depp will fly back his two Yorkshire terriers, Boo and Pistol, on Thursday night, May 14 after the dogs received death threat in Australia, a source tells E! News. Johnny disobeyed Australia's animal import laws by bringing his dogs into the country without permits or a period in quarantine.

PETA Senior VP Lisa Lange says in a statement, "PETA is not at all surprised that Johnny and Amber, who clearly love their animals very much, have arranged to transport their dogs back to the United States safely. It sounds pretty heavy-handed to fine people for trying to include every member of their family in their travel plans."

Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce previously accused the "Mortdecai" actor of smuggling his dogs aboard his private plane when he returned to Australia on April 21 to resume filming of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales". He gave the actor two days to send his dogs out of the country or they would be euthanized.

Barnaby told ABC radio on Thursday that he was "seriously worried" the dogs might not have the right permits to get back into the U.S. and could be rendered "stateless." Barnaby said, "They obviously got on the plane in the United States without telling the United States authorities that they were leaving. Technically, if they absconded [without] the proper process of authorization in leaving the States, does the U.S. recognize that they're here? They're stateless dogs."

"The question is if he breached our laws, then did he follow the correct laws in the U.S.? My worry is will the U.S. let them back in? If not ... will they have anywhere to go?" Barnaby added. "We can't make an exception for Johnny Depp. We have strict laws for a good reason."
