AceShowbiz - Prolific actor Robert De Niro has numerous movie titles and awards in his resume, but he is just a new driver in his new film "The Intern". The Academy Award-winning actor teams up with Anne Hathaway in this comedy movie from writer-director Nancy Meyers.
De Niro portrays Ben Whittaker, a 70-ish widower who joins a bustling fashion website founded by Jules Ostin (Hathaway) as part of its Senior Intern Program. Mutual respect and unlikely friendship grow between the two as Ben finds Jules inspiring, and Jules sees Ben as a person she can count on. In the process, Ben may also find a new love.
Also starring Adam DeVine, Anders Holm, Reid Scott, Nat Wolff, Rene Russo, Andrew Rannells, Anders Holm, Zack Pearlman, Christina Scherer, Linda Lavin, Jason Orley and Christina Scherer, "The Intern" is set to open wide in U.S. theaters on September 25.
