AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus reunited with Laura Jane Grace for the latest video released as part of her Backyard Sessions. After they previously teamed up for the cover of the Replacements' "Androgynous", the two played a rendition of "True Trans Soul Rebel" which was originally performed by Grace's band Against Me!
Their latest performance mostly centers on Grace. Serving as a lead vocalist, she played her guitar while putting an uplifting spin on the track off her group's latest album "Transgender Dysphoria Blues" with Cyrus backing her on the choruses.
Cyrus brought back her Backyard Sessions to promote her newly-launched Happy Hippie Foundation which aims to "fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations."
She has also shared a video of her and Joan Jett performing "Different", and another of her covering Dido's "No Freedom". Ariana Grande and Melanie Safka are other stars set to perform with Cyrus in the future.
