The DC Comics series starring Matt Ryan is axed after one season while the Kevin Bacon-led show is shelved after three seasons.

AceShowbiz - More TV cancellations are revealed. NBC decides to scrap DC Comics adaptation "Constantine" after one season only due to declining ratings, while FOX announces that crime series "The Following" will not return for the fourth cycle.
However, "Constantine" is not completely off the table as Warner Bros. is currently shopping it around to get picked up by another network. Developed by David S. Goyer and Daniel Cerone, the show follows a demon hunter played by Matt Ryan.

"The Following", meanwhile, is led by Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy. Created by Kevin Williamson, it centers on a former FBI agent who is trying to recapture a serial killer. It premiered in January 2013 with the current season expected to wrap up on May 19.
