AceShowbiz - Prince Harry got a marriage proposal from a female fan on Thursday, May 7 while he was greeting a throng of fans at Sydney Opera House in Australia. Not feeling shy, the daring woman even tried to steal a kiss from the 30-year-old royal.
Prince Harry has been in Australia for almost a month to join an embedment with Australian Defence Force. One day before ending the month-long attachment, Prince Harry met the crowd to say goodbye following a military exercise at Sydney harbor. He signed some autographs and posed for some snaps and shook hands with the hundreds of fans.
According to a video obtained by the U.K.'s Sky News, the crazed female fan was standing while wearing a fake golden crown and holding a sign that read, "Marry me Prince Harry, last chance." The blonde woman was later recognized as Victoria McRae.
As Prince Harry walked in front of her, McRae begged the prince to marry her. "Will you marry me? This is the third time. This is the third time I've proposed," the female fan begged the prince while holding the sign. "I've been trying to ask you, will you marry me?"
"Last chance?" Prince Harry replied while jokingly hitting his fists. The prince then politely asked for time to "think about" the proposal.
"Can I kiss you on the cheek?" McRae later asked. Prince Harry obliged and offered her his cheek. However, McRae wanted more than his cheek, trying to plant a kiss on the prince's lips before he quickly stepped away from her.
"I said I'd be happy with a kiss, and so he let me kiss him on the cheek, but then I went in for it," the cheeky royal fan told the publication via the Sydney Morning Herald. "The rest is history. I'm very happy." Asked about McRae's surprise kiss, Prince Harry smiled and simply said, "I got more than one kiss."
