AceShowbiz - Eddie Murphy finally released an official music video for his song "Oh Jah Jah". Arriving online on Wednesday, May 6, the clip directed by Richard Gumbs III is pretty simple as it mostly sees the "Beverly Hills Cop" actor channeling his inner reggae star while performing in a studio. Donning a long-sleeved T-shirt with a star printed on it, Murphy plays his guitar as he sings alongside his band.

The song was first premiered in January. At that time, he told Rolling Stone that his new album depended on how fans would react to the track. "If people respond to ['Oh Jah Jah'], then I might [do an album]. If people don't, that s**t will just stay on the shelf where it's at," he said. "And I'm cool with that. I'm cool with all my s**t being on the shelf until 100 years from now. Everything comes out 100 years from now."

The album may be happening now. The song was well-received as it topped iTunes Reggae Single Chart and debuted in the top 5 on the Billboard's Reggae Digital Song Chart.

"Oh Jah Jah" isn't Murphy's first foray into reggae music. Back in 2013, he teamed up with Snoop Lion a.k.a. Snoop Dogg for "Red Light".
