The Facebook COO posted a touching tribute to her husband, David Goldberg, hours after his funeral service which was attended by hundreds of Silicon Valley executives.

AceShowbiz - Sheryl Sandberg, a Facebook COO, paid tribute to her husband, David Goldberg, in a heartbreaking message posted on Facebook on May 5. She also posted pictures of both of them posing together.
Goldberg, the 47-year-old CEO of SurveyMonkey, died last Friday from severe head wound and blood loss after slipping off a treadmill while on a vacation at a resort in Mexico. The sudden loss brought mournful time to the family.
Just a couple hours after Goldberg's memorial service, attended by hundreds of executives of Silicon Valley, his wife posted a touching tribute on Facebook. Sandberg opened her tribute post by thanking people who had shown their support after her loss. "I want to thank all of our friends and family for the outpouring of love over the past few days. It has been extraordinary - and each story you have shared will help keep Dave alive in our hearts and memories," she wrote.

On her post, the 45-year-old also recalled the very first moment she met David. She also expressed her gratitude and happiness for having Goldberg as her husband.
"We had 11 truly joyful years of the deepest love, happiest marriage, and truest partnership that I could imagine," she added. "He gave me the experience of being deeply understood, truly supported and completely and utterly loved - and I will carry that with me always. Most importantly, he gave me the two most amazing children in the world."
The Facebook executive went on to describe how meaningful David's presence was for her and how the days she had gone through with him. "Dave was my rock. When I got upset, he stayed calm. When I was worried, he said it would be ok. When I wasn't sure what to do, he figured it out. He was completely dedicated to his children in every way - and their strength these past few days is the best sign I could have that Dave is still here with us in spirit," she shared.
This moving tribute has been liked by over 150,000 people on Facebook. Other important figures including President Barack Obama and Fresno CEO and founder Robert Goldberg also posted tribute to David on their Facebook page.
