AceShowbiz - The first trailer for Woody Allen's latest movie "Irrational Man" has just arrived online for viewing pleasure. The video gives a sneak peek at the on-screen chemistry between the two lead stars Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone.
Phoenix plays a philosophy professor in existential crisis who gives his life new purpose when he enters into a relationship with his student. "There was no question there was something lighter about Abe," she shares her impression of the emotionally-troubled teacher. "My thoughts were very mixed-up and troubled."
Supported by Parker Posey, the drama comedy will make its way out Stateside on July 17. It marks the first time Allen works with Phoenix, but not with Stone. He previously directed the Gwen Stacy of "The Amazing Spider-Man" in "Magic in the Moonlight".
