The Alabama rock band also posts their biggest sales week after their newest LP comes atop the list with 96,000 equivalent album including 91,000 pure album sales, according to Nielsen Music.

AceShowbiz - Alabama Shakes scores their first No. 1 album on Billboard 200 with "Sound & Color". Nielsen Music reports that the group's newest studio effort, which was released on April 21, debuts atop the list with 96,000 equivalent album, 91,000 of which are pure album sales.

Trailing behind the rock band's new LP is the "Furious 7" soundtrack, which stays at No. 2 with 62,000. At No. 3 is the second and the last newcomer in the top 10, Yelawolf's "Love Story", which opens with 58,000 units and gives the rapper his best sales week ever.

Drake's "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" jumps from No. 10 to No. 4 with 48,000 units after its physical version, which boasts two new songs, was released last week. The "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack rounds out the top 5, climbing from last week's No. 6 with 38,000 units.

Also rising one rung are Taylor Swift's "1989" (36,000), Sam Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" (under 36,000) and Ed Sheeran's "X" (32,000). Sam Hunt's "Montevallo" bows at No. 9, rising from last week's No. 13 with just under 32,000. The last spot in the top 10 is occupied by Meghan Trainor's "Title" which sells another 30,000.
