The song, which is still untitled, will reportedly be featured in an upcoming episode of the singer's new TV series 'Younger'.

AceShowbiz - A preview of a new song by Hilary Duff has made its way out online. Still untitled, the track will reportedly be featured in an upcoming episode of the former Disney star's new TV Land show "Younger".

Based on the less-than-40 second snippet, the song will be a mid-tempo poppy song in which Duff ditches her good-girl image and shows off her rebellious side. "I do not wanna behave/ Do not wanna wait for Saturday/ Young and drunk and free/ Hey mister mister, dance with me/ Cause I'm sick of doing what they tell me/ Sick and tired of trying to please/ I'm escaping, breaking free," she sings.

If the song was indeed recorded for "Younger" which she also stars in, this won't be Duff's first contribution to the show's soundtrack. She previously dropped "Sparks" which was co-penned by Swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo.

While busy with the series, Duff has also been working on what will be her first album in eight years. "The album is a range of stuff - I would say definitely in the beginning when I started writing, it was pretty heavy, coming out of my past year of - life," she said of the project in a recent interview with MTV News.

"It's changed since then, which is good because I think that the overall theme too - me, personally, I'm not this super heavy girl. You know? I'm one for the sunshine, so it's shifted a lot and it feels a lot better to me," she added.
