The 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' trailer spoof features Adam West and Christopher Reeve in footage from previous TV show and films.

AceShowbiz - Just hours after director Zack Snyder released "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" official trailer on Friday, April 17, a fan named Bobby Burns posted on YouTube the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" retro trailer spoof.

Burns, who describes himself as a "Movie Talkerishthingy", took to Twitter to upload the edited trailer. "4 hours after the trailer came out for Batman V Superman I have my edit up on YouTube. Fairly proud of that :P," he wrote. The trailer spoof has attracted more than 500,000 viewers since Friday.

The mock trailer features previous Batman and Superman, Adam West and Christopher Reeve. It takes the voiceover audio from the original trailer of the upcoming film and combines it with footage from the first "Batman" TV series (1966-1968) starring West and the original "Superman" films starring Reeve which were released from 1978 to 1987.

"The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer was planned to be screened in IMAX theaters for the first time on Monday, April 20. But as a blurry version of the trailer had been leaked on Thursday, Snyder had to release the official trailer online earlier on Friday night. Meanwhile, the movie will not hit the theaters until March 26, 2016. The upcoming film's cast includes Ben Affleck who stars as Batman and Henry Cavill who plays Superman.
