Zack Snyder Reveals Two 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Posters

Two posters of the DC Comics-adapted movie are released ahead of the IMAX special screening events for the film.

AceShowbiz - "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder released the first two teaser posters of the film on Sunday, April 19. The posters which feature Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in costumes as Batman and Superman respectively were revealed through the director's Twitter. He wrote the name of the superhero respectively in the captions and added the hashtag "#MondayBvSSpecialIMAXEvent #BatmanvSuperman."

The two posters were released ahead of the IMAX special screening events for the film scheduled to take place on Monday. "Confirmed 4.20.15 #BatmanvSuperman @IMAX special teaser screening events. Limited space. RSVP https://www.batmanvsupermandawnofjustice.com/imax/," Snyder took to Twitter to announce the special screening events last Thursday.

Following the announcement, the director assured fans that a trailer played during the events would be "the first and only to see." He tweeted, "Cell Phone v IMAX. IMAX Event BvS fans will still be first & only to see special IMAX BvS teaser #AFewExtraShotsPlusALittleSwag #NotPirated."

The event at IMAX theaters reportedly will be 15 minutes long and show two-minute-long full trailer of the film. The clip is exclusive to the IMAX screening event and will not be shown outside the event.

Set for a release on March 25 in the U.S., the movie features two DC Comics characters Batman and Superman. The script is written by Chris Terrio while the cast include Cavill, Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg and Amy Adams who will play Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and Lois Lane respectively.
