The Elena depicter and her co-star thank fans and say that they will miss each other so much in a video that can make people cry and laugh at the same time.

AceShowbiz - Nina Dobrev and Michael Trevino have filmed their last scene together on "The Vampire Diaries". The duo had a unique way to commemorate their exits by bidding farewell to fans with helium voices in an Instagram video.

"We just want to tell the fans we're gonna miss them," so Dobrev said in chipmunk voice. Her co-star added, "We love you so much," before blowing a kiss to the camera. The two then shared an embrace.

Dobrev posted the video on her Instagram with a caption which might explain their voices, "That's a wrap on Elena and Tyler. We were just kids when we started the show, and we still are, 6 years later. #TVDFamily Love you Trevino... @michael_trevino."

Trevino posted the same video on his own Instagram and captioned it, "That a series wrap for Elena & Tyler!!! It's been an incredible 6 years you guys. Thanks for sticking with us. We love you all! #TVD."

"TVD" showrunner Julie Plec announced Dobrev and Trevino's departures earlier this month on Instagram. The actress has taken to the photo-sharing site to post pictures from her last days on the set of the CW series.
