AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen made her final appearance on runway at Colcci Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2016 Fashion Show. In the show during San Paolo Fashion Week held on Wednesday, April 15, the top model bowed for the last time at the end of the catwalk.
During the show, Bundchen strutted her stuff in a selection of summery ensembles. She made her first entrance wearing a pretty white embroidered halterneck dress which showcased her thigh and black Knee-high gladiator-style boots. Her sun-kissed hair that was styled into beachy waves perfectly matched her natural look. For her second entrance, Bundchen sizzled in a silk white and orange stripped dress and teamed it with a nude version of the same boots.
At the closing session, she appeared along with fellow models wearing ripped jeans and rocker-style T-shirts. When the mother of two reached the end of the catwalk, she bowed for the last time, drawing a standing applause from crowd which included her parents, sisters and husband Tom Brady. A hug then came from fellow Brazilian-born model Fernanda Tavares.
Prior to the show, Bundchen shared a photo to say goodbye to her catwalk career via Instagram on Wednesday. The top model shared a throwback photo from her very first moment in modeling during New York Fashion Week back in 1996. In the vintage photo, the 34-year-old model is wearing her long, straight, sun-kissed hair down and a black tank top while looking away from camera.
"I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey," the Brazilian beauty captioned the snap, recalling the starting point of her journey in modeling. "Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business. #firstrunway #14yearsold."
