The 'Hollaback Girl' singer gets restraining order against her obsessed fan who threatened suicide when he looked at photos showing her tripping.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani just snagged a 3-year restraining order against her fan, Richard Portnoy. According to TMZ, Portnoy is so obsessed with her and he threatened to commit suicide when he looked at photos showing Stefani tripping.

Portnoy allegedly tried to follow the star to a medical clinic. He also appeared in the singer's house multiple times. He reportedly came bringing gifts, such as flowers and candy for Stefani, and also wrote a letter which contained his promise to Stefani that he could change her unhappy life.

According to the court declarations, Portnoy once told the singer's father that he had seen photos of Stefani appearing to trip, and if she injured herself, he would not be able to go on living. Instead of feeling secured, the "Rich Girl" singer admitted that she was annoyed and scared with the man's creepy action.

TMZ reports that Portnoy is a rich man, lives in a gated community and drives expensive cars, such as a Porsche and a Mercedes.
