The sexy model confronted photographer Terry Richardson for uploading her 'Cat Daddy' dance video in the internet back in 2012.

AceShowbiz - Kate Upton opened up that she was annoyed when her now-infamous video was released by photographer Terry Richardson. The video, which showed Upton doing the "Cat Daddy" dance, went viral after Richardson posted it on YouTube in 2012 and helped catapult her to fame.

In an interview with Alexa Chung for the June issue of Vogue U.K., the model was asked if she had confronted Richardson. She replied, "Yes, I did. I was like, 'That was disrespectful, you could have told me!' "

In the video, Upton was wearing a teeny red bikini and dancing to 2011's hit by hip-hop group Rej3ctz. She thought that the video which was taken behind the scenes of a photoshoot was just filmed for fun. She admitted that she actually didn't want anyone else to see the video.

However, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model admitted that she had gotten over it. "Now, obviously, it's fine," she said. She even helped the video go viral by posting a tweet, "MY'Cat Daddy'!!! directed by Terry Richardson @terry_world https://tmblr.co/ZEobVyKgwtdS haha."

While public considered the video helped Upton reach her popularity, the photographer didn't think so. "No. Kate was born a star," he said.
