The rapper has settled a civil lawsuit filed by paparazzo Daniel Ramos for attacking him at airport in 2013.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West has agreed to settle a lawsuit brought by a videographer, Daniel Ramos, whom he allegedly attacked in 2013. Ramos's attorney, Gloria Allred, stated that West agreed to apologize to Ramos. West and Ramos were also pictured shaking hands with West giving a smile to Ramos. Along with his apology to Ramos, West reportedly gave Ramos an unspecified amount of money.

West was charged with misdemeanor battery, a charge helped by a fellow paparazzo's video capturing the exchange. He pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor battery last year and was sentenced to two years of probation, 24 anger management therapy sessions and 250 hours of community service.

Ramos sued West after he was being attacked on July 19, 2013 at LAX Airport. West was reported lunging at the paparazzo while trying to get into his car. He allegedly did it after he was being questioned by Ramos, "Kanye, why can't we talk to you?"

"Danny held onto his camera and fell down onto his knees onto the paved sidewalk with enough force that he sustained injuries to his right hip, was in great pain, and had to be transported in an ambulance to the emergency room," Ramos' lawyer, Allred, said in a statement.

Allred added, "We believe that this case sent an important message. Celebrities are not above the law, and they have no right to physically attack someone simply because they were asked a question."
