The King of Blues has returned home after being hospitalized in Las Vegas over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - After reportedly being hospitalized, 89-year-old guitarist B.B. King headed home on Tuesday, April 7. On his official Facebook page, he posted a statement, "I want to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes. I'm feeling much better & am leaving the hospital today."

King reportedly suffered from dehydration which was caused by his diabetes type 2. He was rushed to hospital near his home in Las Vegas on Sunday. Her daughter, Claudette, said that her father was feeling "much better" shortly after the King of Blues was hospitalized.

King previously suffered the same illness which forced him to cancel some of his performances in October 2014. But then by October 7, King had returned home and posted a message for his fans on his website. He wrote at the time, "I'm back at home now listening to music, watching movies and enjoying some down time. I think I'm busier at home now than on the road talking to friends calling to check up on me. I do appreciate everyone's calls and concern. I want to tell you, I'm doing alright."
