Not so long after Swift addressed fighting reports on Twitter on Monday, April 6, Lorde shared Swift's post on her Twitter.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift set the record straight about rumors that she's fighting with Lorde on her Twitter account on Monday, April 6. Later on the same day, Lorde shared the "Love Story" singer's tweet on her own Twitter and added a comment to the post.
"Media, when you say 'Lorde & Taylor are fighting' - by fighting do you mean 'FaceTiming constantly from US to NZ and LOLing at you'? Thnx bye," Swift wrote on Twitter on Monday night. Lorde shared the post and added, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves @taylorswift13."
The singer of "Shake It Off" and the "Still Sane" songstress were reportedly fighting about recording a duet together. They had different opinion about the collaboration. A report by OK! magazine on April 13 said that Swift offered Lorde to record a duet together but the "Royals" singer apparently disagreed. She said that their voices didn't "mesh well" together.
"Lorde loves Taylor but she thinks that their voices have completely different sounds and they won't mesh well together," so the report reads. "Taylor was pretty disappointed with her reaction."
Back in 2014, Lorde opened up about the potential collaboration with Swift in an interview with Capital FM radio. She said that there were many options when partnering with her good friend and she believed their different musical styles could easily complement each other.
"Yeah we are [different] but I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music," she said of her best friend. "I think that last record in particular, everyone was like 'Woah.' And I think with an artist like her, the sky is the limit."
