Bored students at a high school prom start dancing and making out as the budding singer and his collaborator perform their song on the stage.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Puth has premiered the official music video for his collaboration with Meghan Trainor, "Marvin Gaye". Arriving on Wednesday, April 1, the sexy visuals directed by Marc Klasfeld features the two singers making magic as they perform at a high school prom.

The clip opens with Puth taking the stage alone in front of a number of bored students. He starts singing while playing the piano and everyone starts dancing. They go wilder after Trainor joins her collaborator onstage.

"Marvin Gaye" was released in February as Puth's debut single. The singer, who's now signed to Atlantic Records, recently revealed in an interview with Billboard how he got to work with Trainor on the record.

"Meghan and I were at a party one night, and we were exchanging the new music, and she heard 'Marvin Gaye' and asked, 'Who else is singing on this? It should be a duet. Let me sing on it!' So I'm like ...OK, Meghan Trainor just asked me to sing on my song, absolutely!" he said. "In one day, she knew the whole thing. We did it all in one take."
