Hart will be presented with the award at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards set to be held on April 12 this year at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - MTV announced on Monday, March 30 that Kevin Hart would be honored with the prestigious Comedic Genius Award at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards next month. Hart made the announcement in a short video which shows him bragging about being the "funniest man alive" to his third-grade nemesis who doesn't agree with MTV's definition of "comedic genius."
According to a statement issued by MTV, the Comedic Genius Award is meant to celebrate Hart for a "bold and irreverent comedic style that has captivated audiences from his movies and sitcoms, to stand-up specials, award show performances and in front of packed arenas of fans." Jimmy Kimmel will be presenting the award.
The 2015 MTV Movie Awards is set to be staged at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, April 12 at 8 P.M. ET. Amy Schumer is on board hosting the annual awards show.
