AceShowbiz - Emily Blunt is the latest celebrity to be added to the voice cast of "Animal Crackers". Her casting in the upcoming animation-comedy flick is quite interesting as she is attached to voice real life husband John Krasinski's character's wife. While Blunt's involvement in the film has just been confirmed, Krasinski's casting was already announced in early February.
Blunt and Krasinski will be voicing the roles of Zoe and John, a husband and wife "whose family life is turned upside down when they inherit a rundown circus and a mysterious box of Animal Crackers, which magically changes the person who eats them into animals." The duo are joined in the voice cast ensemble by the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Ian McKellen, and Danny DeVito.
The production team behind "Animal Crackers" has been eyeing to release the film next year, but no exact date has been set. The film will be directed by Tony Bancroft and Scott Christian Sava from a script written by Sava himself and Dean Lorey.
