The much-talked-about collaboration, which fans have been waiting since last November, will finally be released on May 5.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has finally set a release date for her highly-anticipated collaboration with Iggy Azalea. In a new interview with PEOPLE, the pop diva revealed that the song, which fans have been eagerly waiting since last November, would come out on May 5.

The duet is called "Pretty Girls" and will appear on Spears' new album that she's been working on "slowly but surely." It's unclear when the follow-up to 2013's "Britney Jean" would arrive because getting it done isn't her priority right now.

"There's a lot going on with my kids and schools and, you know, adding new sports and stuff like that," she recently told Billboard magazine. "I'm gonna try to do my best to do an amazing album, but it's not my full priority right now. Kids can drive you crazy."

In an interview with Associated Press last week, Azalea revealed that the duet would also lead her sophomore effort, which is scheduled for late 2015. She said of the collaboration, "I don't know if I needed re-inspiring, but [the song] just made me extra excited to want to put out new music."
