The 'Burn Notice' alum will play the pre-POTUS Reagan who has been campaigning for the election.

AceShowbiz - Bruce Campbell has won the election to be Ronald Reagan in season 2 of "Fargo". The Ash Williams in Sam Raimi's "Evil Dead" movie series is cast as the important political figure who later became the 40th President of the United States.

The upcoming season season of the FX hit series is set against "the cultural transformation that was going on" in the late 1970s as well as Reagan's first campaign for President of the United States. "He's on his first campaign [and he] makes a swing through Fargo. Some of the characters have some interactions with him. And some of his movies are also a part of the show," FX Networks CEO John Landgraf said back in January about Reagan on the show.

TVLine reports that Campbell will appear in one episode. He joins his "Burn Notice" co-star Jeffrey Donovan, who has been earlier cast for the new installment of the comedy-crime drama series. However, it is unknown if the two will share screen on "Fargo".

Other actors tapped to appear in the second 10-episode second season of "Fargo" include Patrick Wilson, Ted Danson, Cristin Milioti, Jean Smart, Nick Offerman, Brad Garrett and Kieran Culkin. The story follows young Lou Solverson (Wilson), a clean-cut Minnesota State Patrolman, four years after he's back from Vietnam, where he served in the Navy. He investigates a case involving a local crime gang and a major Mob syndicate.

Bruce Campbell has also signed up to reprise his role as Ash on "Ash vs. Evil Dead" TV show which has been picked up to series by Starz.
